What Size Bed is Best for my Dog?
Posted by Editor on

Our dogs are active for many hours in the day but also need to regularly relax and snooze. There is nothing more settling for everyone than having a dog who is happy, relaxed and settled with their families. We can all help our pooches get the important relaxation and down time that they all need by ensuring that they have somewhere comfortable and quiet to relax and snooze without any disturbances.
It is of great importance to make sure that you have chosen the right size bed for your dog. Can you imagine trying to relax and sleep on a bed that was only half the size you needed with your head and legs and arms dropping off the edge! You would not get the best of sleeps for sure and would wake up with the worst aches and pains. Nobody wants this for their pooch.
The bed should be large enough for them to be able to lie comfortably in all of their natural positions. Some beds might be big enough for your dog to snuggle and curl up, but can your dog also stretch out their long legs if they want to?
Before purchasing a bed check out the manufacturers/sellers sizing recommendations which will usually give you an idea of what type of dog would suit which sizing of bed. Larger breeds like Labradors generally will need a Large or XL bed whereas a French Bulldog will generally fit into a Small bed.
